How to Make Green and Eco-Friendly Home-made Cleaning Products

How to Make Green and Eco-Friendly Cleaning Products Home-made

The next time you have a kitchen counter or bathroom you need to clean, forget running to your local store to obtain commercial cleaning products. Instead, how about creating your own concoctions of home-made green cleaning products to get the job done and be better to the environment at the same time.

Consider using easily accessible cleaning products like club soda, vinegar and even vodka, which is a proven germ fighter, as affordable, green and quite effective home-made cleaners. The best part is that they are all natural and better for the environment!

Home-made or all-natural cleaning solutions utilize basic chemicals and ingredients to eliminate grime, deodorize, and, in some instances, disinfect surfaces. These home-made green cleaning products are ideal for leaving kitchen and bathroom surfaces sparkling clean.

Having these home-made, green cleaning products may prevent the need entirely to buy from commercial stores – and in many cases harsh – cleaning products. If you are wondering what the shelf life is of these home-made cleaning products, most natural, DIY cleaning solutions are able to last as long as a month. Then there are other ingredients, such as hydrogen peroxide, that lose their effectiveness in a shorter time span.

Here are a wide variety of cleaning solution recipes that are all natural, home-made, effective, and good for the environment:
